Gerry Mosier, professional quilter and owner of The Whistle Stop Gift Shop in Durbin, WV, comes from 3 generations of quilters. This medium provides Mosier with a creative outlet and the satisfaction of accomplishment especially with the challenging patterns and techniques that she is drawn to.

On Memorial weekend we celebrated our opening!! Thank you to everyone who came out to support us!  Such a perfect day!! We are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11:30-5pm!!

Call for WV Artists!!!!!
The Burner Homeplace Grand Opening!
Cass, WV
May 25th 11-6:30pm

 
West Virginia artists demonstrating and selling their wares, local musicians, art classes, maple syrup, pony rides, bouncy house, and the first preview of our Museum and Fine Art Gallery. 
We are a short walk from the Greenbrier River and Cass Scenic Railroad State Park.
 
Our event is open to all West Virginia artists who create original handmade artwork. Artists must provide their own tent, display and chairs.
 
To register, please send up to 5 photos of your work and a description of your process and materials used to: [email protected].  Also include any social media sites, your website and if you will be demonstrating at your booth. Electricity is available upon request.
 
Make a $25 donation to The Burner Homeplace for each 10x10 booth space. Advanced payment will include media promotions and reserves your space on our lawn.  No refunds are available and our event is rain or shine!! Set up begins at 9:30am.
